Explosion of the Economy during the Tang Dynasty

The golden age of china was a time of economic boom for China and all over the world. It lasted for a long time and took place during the Tang Dynasty. Throughout  this time, the commercial growth in China drastically increased. This means the manufacturing of non-agricultural goods, such as silk and cash crops (tea), became more popular. New tools and technique for manufacturing were invented and this allowed  China to be able to trade with India, Persia, and Byzantium in the west.  This allowed China and the Tang capital, Chang'an to have a sort of  supremacy over nearby regions.
The industrialization of China was a very important factor in China’s history. All of the industrialization of products made more people come and work in the factories in the cities, and also live in the cities. This caused a vast change of population in China. During the Tang Dynasty, China’s cities were the largest and most advanced and developed in the world. This also made China one of the richest and most powerful countries during this time.
Along with all of  economic growth came changes in the way China viewed social order. The Tang empire tolerated all religions. Many religions flourished during the Tang dynasty including Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and even Christianity. However changes within society changed. The Tang dynasty broke down the social structure in to class, much like what we have today in our country. Although they had classes, it wasn't a very big deal and people didn't think too much about it like we do today. It was just a way to have order, and now a lot of other places around the world follow after this type of social structure.
The Tang Dynasty was a very important time for China. It was a time of prosperity and strength for China. Some of the Tang Dynasty ideas are still used today. The Tang Dynasty was very influential time for not just China but also for other nations too, and still is today.
